It has been a record-breaking year for MediaCorp News' Roving DV/DV Xiao Yuan Competition. Almost three times more entries, some 170 of them, were received.

The 2007 MediaCorp News Roving DV Champion is Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School, with its clip on "Programme for the Visually Impaired". Its students walked away with the Champion's Trophy and a hard disk digital camcorder, courtesy of JVC Singapore.

The Award for Best Piece-To-Camera by a Student Reporter went to Ser Cher Tian of Admiralty Secondary School.
