Introduction
ST John Ambulance Brigade (SJAB) has a strength of 40 cadets. 10 of them are the ambulance cadets while the remaining 30 are the nursing cadets.
Our motto is “ For The Service Of Mankind”.

Our activities are held every Monday from 4.30-6.00pm and on Friday 2.30- 6pm. SJAB at AISS provides not only basic First Aid and CPR, Home Nursing (for Nursing cadets) and Transportation of Casualty ( T.O.C. for ambulance cadets) but also enrichment programmes in order to provide them with holistic development and leadership qualities and to be an all-rounder students.
Our activities are as follows:
- Theory and Practical for First Aid , CPR, Home Nursing & T.O.C.
- Enrichment Programmes ( Cadet Proficiency Badge Scheme- CPBS for eg, kayaking, hiking, expedition and many more )
- Public Duties
- CIP ( Visit & Entertain the old folks at Swami Home, Cleaning Beaches, CIP at the National Library and many more)
- NCO Camp
- Fund Raising ( Flag Day/Carnivals/Walkathon & Donations)
- Annual Inspection
- Annual Camp
- Camp Crafts ( survival cooking and many more )
- Outdoor Games

- Cadets attended Civil Defence Course (SJAB cadets including the SJAB VH students)
- 1 cadet representing AI for National Camp
- All cadets took part in SJAB Walkathon -collected $1009.95
- SJAB Flag Day (with SJAB VH students) -collected $2239.42
- Cadets attended the Combined Corps Camp (Zone Level)

Nursing cadets and Nursing adult teams became champion for the First Aid Competition at zone level. |
2 cadets, Ang Zhi Yeong and Kang Mun Yee represent Singapore for the Singapore-Malaysia First Aid Competition. We came in first beating both teams from Malaysia |
