History
The AISS Choir was established in 1995. Over the years, the choir has grown in leaps and bounds .It boasts a strength of over 60 members and an impressive record of both indoor and outdoor performances.

Performances
The choir participated actively in various public performances such as the National Day Parade and the SYF Opening Ceremony. The choir also took part in musicals such as " OKLAHOMA" and "West Side Story" during the period of 1995-2001 at Victoria Theatre. Other public performances include Yishun Junior College's "Sing and Rejoice". The choir was awarded the Bronze Medal in Singapore Youth Festival Central Judging for Choirs in 1998, 2002 and 2007. We obtained our first Silver Medal in SYF Central Judging for Choirs in year 2005. The choir's first own public performance, "Cantare" was held in December 2005 at the Young Musicians' Society. On 16 November 2008, “Cantare 2”was performed at Jubilee Hall, Raffles hotel,. It was a resounding success and we are looking forward to staging choir concerts annually. We are also aiming towards participating in overseas choral festivals and competitions.

Rehearsals
Currently, the choir is under the tutelage of Ms Sheila Ong, our instructor, and the guidance of teachers-in-charge, Miss Cheryl Ang, , Mdm Xie Fu Zhen and Miss Ashley Zhang. |
