Caring Teacher Award 2008 |

The Caring Teacher Awards (CTA) are aimed at acknowledging and rewarding those teachers in our schools who through their daily deeds and actions, exemplify the values of caring, sharing and concern for the academic, moral, social, emotional and mental welfare of their students.
In partnership with ExxonMobil Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., and with support of the Ministry of Education, National Institute of Education, Singapore will present the awards in September 2008. One teacher each from a primary school, a secondary school and a junior college/centralised institute will be honored at the CTA 2008 award. These awards will be used for the teachers' personal and professional development.

Research Study On English Language & Maths Achievement |
Dear Parents,
The Ministry of Education (MOE) is conducting a research study on the English Language and Mathematics achievement of secondary school pupils. Ahmad Ibrahim Secondary School has been identified to support this study, which will involve your child/ward having to take some tests administered by the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB).Your child/ward will take either the English Language test or the Mathematics test as part of this research study.
The details are as follows:
Date: 19 August 2008, Tuesday
Time: 2.00 – 4.30 pm

After attending the breifing for the Secondary 2 Streaming process,pupils were given a Streaming Information Booklet.This booklet provides useful knowledge of the streaming criteria, nature of subjects offered in Secondary 3, post secondary educational options as well as many other practical information pertaining to the streaming.
