| Celebrating National Day 2010! |
|
Our whole school came together this morning wearing red and white to form a gigantic version of our state flag, a joint effort where everyone in the school came together, contributing as one to create this visual spectacle. The enjoyable concert put up by our performance arts CCAs contributed to the overall celebratory mood with emotions running high when everyone in school moved along with the melodious tunes of the various National Day theme songs.

| Racial Harmony Day |
|
| In the spirit of celebrating Racial Harmony Day, our school had prepared a series of fun and meaningful activities beginning on 19 July, with pupils enthusiastically coming to school on that day dressed up in traditional ethnic costumes. There was an engaging showcase of cross culture martial arts performance by the Silat Sports Academy followed by a humour-filled drama inspired by our country's past brought about over the past 2 weekly assemblies. |
| Cycling at the Eastern Coast Park Connector |
|
| The PE department organised a cycling trip for a group of 50 pupils last Saturday, 17 July 2010 at the Eastern Coast Park Connector. The cyclists turned up with enthusiasm in spite of the morning showers and committed themselves to finishing the 40km course. It was a great morning of workout riding with friends while enjoying the scents of the sea. |

| Chinese Orchestra Concert - 伊欣一意 (Wholeheartedly) |
|
| Our AI Chinese Orchestra brought us their inaugural public concert at the Singapore Conference Hall on 26 June 2010. The orchestra took the audience through a lively exploratory journey, immersing us in an interesting assortment of tunes, from the classical to the contemporary. The orchestra also has a strong bond with its alumni, with many former members enthused to be back contributing to the concert's success. |
| Sports Carnival |
| |
| Our sports carnival this year was carried out on the last week of Term 2 at the scenic Bedok Reservoir Park. Apart from the cross-country runs which gave us an opportunity to have a workout in the embrace of nature, we had participated in kayaking and dragon boating for the very first time. It was excellent fun for everyone! |
| Dance Concert - Curious Wonderland |
|
In the cosy ambience of the Republic Polytechnic Cultural Centre Studio, our Dance Ensemble brought us their inaugural public concert. 2 performances took place on 12 March 2010 to a studio of packed supporters and the public audience. Curious Wonderland was inspired by the famed fable Alice in Wonderland, which was recently in the limelight due to a movie made after it. The alumni of the Dance Ensemble came back in full support of the production and together with the rest of the dance family, presented a most lovely and cheerful performance.
